Position Summary:

Roepke’s Village Inn (Charlesburg) is hiring an energetic, team-oriented dishwasher to join our family. Flexible part- time evening and weekend shifts. This position may earn $8 to $15/hour.
Position Summary:
Dishwashers keep our kitchen running smoothly and they are an integral part of our busy restaurant. Can be a pathway for further advancement.
Essential Functions:
- Set up the dishwashing station
- Make sure the detergent concentrations are correct, and the right temperatures are proper so that dishes are washed /sanitized
- Scrape plates, clean dishes, glassware, flatware, utensils, pots/pans, using dishwasher or by hand
- Keep the dishwashing area and food prep areas and equipment clean
- Help the Lead Cook with food prep and stocking items as directed
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Interact positively and professionally with co-workers
Job Requirements:
- Attention to details regarding cleanliness and safety of dishes, glassware, etc.
- Ability to read and understand instructions

SERVER
Deliver food to customers in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.
Roepke’s Village Inn (Charlesburg) is hiring for the Server position. Flexible part-time shifts including evening and weekends are available. Server experience not required. With tips, this position can earn between $15-$40/hour.
Position Summary:
Server takes orders, answers questions about the menu and food. Serves guests in a courteous, helpful and prompt manner. Server takes payments, communicates orders with the kitchen staff, seats customers and helps with customer service and clean-up(s). The main responsibility for this position is to deliver food to customers in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare the dining room(s), kitchen area and salad bar for shift; reverse at end of shift
- Greets customers cordially within a few minutes of being seated
- Presents menu and explains accurately any questions customer may have
- Take food and drink order - use the POS terminal to transmit customers choices
- Checks customers identification as to confirm legal drinking age
- Pick up order in kitchen or bar promptly
- Serve a complete meal to all persons at each table in your assigned section
- Maintains table tidiness by removing courses as completed; refill water
- Set up and maintain salad bar
- Delivers checks and collects credit card or cash payment; presents payment to cashier
- Stay updated with current menu choices
- Adhere to sanitation and safety regulations
- Perform cleaning tasks; side-work duties; and replenishing
- Maintains good customer service; can promptly address issues or refer customers to management when necessary

LINE COOK
Prepares and cooks food to the Lead Chef’s specifications.
Roepke’s Village Inn (Charlesburg) is hiring a hard-working, energetic part-time Line Cook. This position also assists with Food Prep responsibilities. Schedules include weekends and nights. Experience in full restaurant is a plus, but we are happy to train. This position pays $16-$20/hour.
Position Summary:
Prepares and cooks food to the Lead Chef’s specifications.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare and cook menu items based on specifications set by the Lead Chef
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food for your station
- Observe all sanitations regulations and safety standards
- Food preparation and portioning prior to service
- Interact positively and professionally with co-workers
- Maintain clean work areas and equipment
- During meal service, line cook is responsible for the items requested from his/her station
- Mobility required during entire shift
- Strong communication and organizational skills

Roepke’s Village Inn is looking for an ambitious Prep Cook to assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in the kitchen.
Position Summary:
You will perform routine kitchen tasks so that food can be prepared according to recipes
Essential Functions:
- Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties
- Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
- Measure ingredients to be used in cooking
- Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, etc.
- Prepare simple dishes assigned by chef
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out the trash
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by chef
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of health and safety rules of the kitchen
- Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils

Roepke’s Village Inn is looking to hire a hard-working custodian to keep our restaurant tidy, clean and well maintained.
Position Summary:
The custodian will sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, and dust/clean surfaces. They will clean windows, blinds, and other surfaces. They will clean bathrooms.
Essential Functions:
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles
- Cleaning bathroom surfaces, toilets, stainless steel dividers, sinks
- Clean glass doors
- Weekly dust blinds on windows
- Weekly wipe toilet tanks and bases
- Clean restroom entrance doors
- Other tasks outlined by management
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and agents
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Available to work when restaurant is closed
- Good organizational skills
